Health iPASS helps you experience a fast and easy check-in to your appointments at Associates in Dermatology. Our system gives you the ability to see your insurance benefits and provides a summary of your financial responsibility at the time of your visit. With Health iPASS, you can expect price transparency into your cost of care, a convenient end-to-end experience, and peace-of-mind right at your fingertips!
STEP 1: APPOINTMENT REMINDERS
Receive appointment reminders via your choice of text, email, or voice so you never miss your appointment again. These reminders will provide a convenient link to fill out your patient intake forms with Health iPASS.
You will also receive an email from Exscribe, our Electronic Health Records partner, with a link to complete your medical history forms ahead of your appointment.
STEP 2: CHECK-IN
From the comfort of home, you can complete your contactless check-in while using your cell phone, view a clear statement of your insurance benefits, and make hassle-free payments using the method of your choice including credit, debit, check, or cash.
Even if you’ve used Health iPASS to check in remotely, please let the front desk know when you’ve arrived at the office for your appointment.
STEP 3: KNOW WHAT YOU OWE
Sick of confusing medical bills? We thought so! Health iPASS shows you what you will owe at the time-of-service and emails you a final bill after insurance handles your claim. You can also pay for visit balances automatically when you leave a card on file.
How Health iPASS Works
Once you have scheduled your appointment, you will receive a confirmation from Health iPASS for your appointment via text, email, or voice, and can use mobile devices to begin our secure, touch-free, and 100% mobile check-in process, with no apps to download or password to remember.
With just a few clicks on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can:
- Check in and complete registration
- Verify/change your personal information
- Learn about your insurance benefits
- Make secure payments
- Change payment method & sign up for EasyPay
- Complete all clinical forms, consent, and policy reviews paperlessly
Associates in Dermatology has partnered with Health iPASS to offer a convenient, highly secure, Credit/Debit/HSA card and Bank ACH payment program for our patients.
What Health iPASS will do
When you use the new Health iPASS payment process for an appointment, you will be asked to put a credit card on file, which will not be charged until your insurance company has adjudicated your claim. By processing your insurance first, we will only charge you for your exact out-of-pocket responsibility. You will receive an email after your visit with us with a summary of charges and an estimate of what we believe you will owe.
After your insurance has processed, you will receive a second email informing you of the actual amount you owe and notifying you that your card will be charged in five days unless you wish to discuss alternative payment plan arrangements with our business office.
Your personal information is safe and protected
All financial information is fully encrypted. Health iPASS maintains compliance with all industry standards, converting your payment information to an electronic token.
Storing your information
Once your office visit has been paid in full, the electronic token will be deleted and no longer kept on file.
I've been to both the Altamonte and Dr. Phillips locations. I was checked in and out quickly and only waited about 15 minutes to see the provider. At the Dr. Phillips location I had a total body scan and felt comfortable with the female doctor and nurses. In the Altamonte location I saw Anette. I was having a cosmetic procedure done and was explained the process throughout. She is very friendly and caring and I would recommend coming here to my friends and family.
