Health Fairs

Want to spread the word about safe skin care in your community?

Many Orlando residents worship the sun and Florida has numerous outdoor activities to keep the whole family on the go year-round. But, the benefits of sun exposure come with a dangerous tradeoff. Each year more than 3.5 million cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the United States. As the leading skin cancer specialist in Central Florida, our dermatology practice stays involved in the community by participating in local health fairs.

Since one person dies from melanoma every hour, the American Cancer Society recommends that everyone over the age of thirty have a routine skin cancer screening. If you are planning a local event or organizing a health fair for your employees and wish to reach out to us, do not hesitate to submit a request for our consideration. We were able to showcase our services and encourage everyone who stops by to make an appointment for an annual skin check as well as to wear the appropriate sunscreen . . . even during the winter months.

Please include detailed information (such as the location and date of the event, number of attendees, number of other health providers participating, etc.) on the form below.

I recently saw Annette at the Altamonte office for a skin screening. I was greeted by Carol, who was very pleasant and upbeat. She made me feel at ease from the moment I walked in and explained the paperwork and co-pay questions I had. My appointment was at 9:30am and Annette's nurse called me back at 9:35am. I was pleasantly surprised that my appointment was on time. Not that I would have minded waiting, since that is normally how that goes at a doctor's office. The medical assistant was very professional, explained procedures and answered any questions I had with knowledge. Annette is a very smart and detail oriented person, she was very pleasant to talk to and answered my questions and concerns. She gave me information brochures, samples of creams and I left with a good peace of mind. I felt that all of my concerns were addressed and Annette listened to all of my concerns. I would highly recommend this office to everybody. It is a great team, the have a great work ethic and dynamic going on! Thank you all for a great experience.
